About this course
If you find yourself explaining the same job to Claude every week, it's time to turn it into a skill. In this hands-on course you'll take one task you repeat and turn it into a Claude skill that runs the same way every time. You'll test it against a colleague's, fix what breaks, and learn how to share it so your whole team can use it.
You'll learn how to
- Know what a skill is, and when one beats a saved prompt or a Project
- Write the description that makes Claude use your skill at the right moment
- Build a working skill from a task you already do
- Test a skill, and fix the three most common faults
- Share a skill with your team, and keep one current copy

Who it's for
People who already use Claude regularly and want their best ways of working to stick. No coding.
Prerequisites: Claude at work: from rough notes to finished work, or regular use of Claude at work. Bring a laptop and a Claude account; a paid plan is best (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise). Sharing a skill inside Claude needs a Team or Enterprise plan; on other plans we'll show you how to pass one on as a file. Bring a task you repeat at least weekly, without confidential or client details.

- Hands-on: most of the session is you doing it, not watching
- Practice on your own work, or our sample material
