About this course
Much of a working week goes on turning raw material into something finished: meeting notes into a summary, a thread of emails into an update, a few rough points into a proposal or a deck. In this hands-on course you'll do that with Claude on your own material. You'll go from the first messy input to a finished document, deck or spreadsheet, and learn how to check it so it's good enough to send with your name on it.
You'll learn how to
- Turn rough notes, emails and transcripts into a clear first draft in the shape you need
- Get finished formats out of Claude: documents, slide decks and spreadsheets
- Bring in the right sources (your files, connected apps and the web) and keep confidential material out
- Check the result against its sources before it goes anywhere
- Set it up so the next one takes minutes

Who it's for
People in any role or industry who use Claude a little and want it doing real pieces of their work. No technical background needed.
Prerequisites: Getting started with Claude, or some use of Claude at work. Bring a laptop with a Claude account: a free account works, and a paid one shows more. Bring rough material from a real piece of work (notes, emails or a transcript), without confidential or client details. We supply sample material for anyone who'd rather not use their own.
